What happens during a PEMF session?
The powerful Pulse Equine PEMF devices send pulsing magnetic fields through a soft, flexible rubber coil and, using our exclusive line of PEMF accessories, deliver it into the body. As this happens, the cell membrane is permeated,(Novickij) and releases waste, toxins, and inflammation while receiving oxygen and nutrients. This process stimulates and exercises the cells,[2] giving them more energy to do their jobs better.[6]

Is PEMF a new technology?
PEMF might seem like a new technology to us in North America, but it has been safely used throughout Europe and other countries for more than 50 years. Thousands of studies have proven the benefits of PEMF technology. For a more comprehensive history of PEMF and related studies, search for Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields on pubmed.gov.
How long does a PEMF session take?
A PEMF session on a large animal lasts 30-45 minutes, while small animal PEMF sessions last 20-60 minutes, depending on how many areas are worked. These session times are much faster than those of other systems on the market, as our unique Large Animal Loops deliver 2 separate pulsing electromagnetic fields and give the opportunity to pulse the legs and body at the same time!
How are PEMF sessions performed?
Our unique Pulse Equine soft, flexible rubber “loops” can be placed over any large animal’s body. When the machine is turned on and the pulses are delivered to the body, the strength may be adjusted to meet the animal’s comfort level. This process is entirely non-invasive and requires no medication or sedation. Animals LOVE PEMF therapy!
Do I have to be a licensed medical professional to purchase a Pulse system?
No! Anyone can purchase a Pulse system for personal or business use. Those interested in becoming a Certified Pulse PEMF Professional are required to complete all 3 levels of training. In addition, please check your state requirements for using certain wellness modalities.
What are the differences between the Pulse EQ-X, EQ-X1 and EQ-XX?
These 3 unique machines vary in size, features, and overall power. For a full description of our product line, contact us at (888) 952-7030 or info@pulseequine.com
Can PEMF sessions be performed at shows and events?
From a performance standpoint, it is just fine to use PEMF on an animal on show, race, or competition day. We do, however, always recommend checking with the relevant governing body to ensure that PEMF is allowed on site within that organization.
Why do a session on the whole animal when the problem is in one area?
PEMF is viewed as the Swiss Army knife of wellness, because instead of treating a specific system or condition, it stimulates and exercises every cell in the body so that the body as a whole can do its job better. Using PEMF on the entire body charges every bodily system, not just the area of issue. As a result, when PEMF is used for whole-body wellness, cells throughout the body will be exercised, take in nutrients, and release waste and toxins…
